Services
Education and one-on-one consulting for a first claim, a rating increase, or a decision review. General guidance, never legal representation.
What a consultation can cover
- 01
Understand the steps
The general steps involved in filing a new VA disability claim or seeking an adjustment to an existing rating, in plain language and in order.
- 02
Identify conditions to claim
A review of your service history, current diagnoses and ratings, denied conditions, exposures, injuries, and possible secondary conditions, to find conditions you may want to claim.
- 03
Organize the evidence
Military records, medical documents, VA records, personal statements, buddy statements, and other supporting evidence, sorted, labeled, and gap-checked.
- 04
Prepare for the C&P exam
What the examination may cover, and how to describe your actual symptoms, treatment history, functional limitations, and daily-life impact truthfully and accurately.
- 05
Read your decision letter
Granted, denied, deferred, increased, and continued conditions, the VA's reasons and evidence, whether a Supplemental Claim or Higher-Level Review fits, and a strategy for what comes next.
How a consultation is arranged
- 01
Send a request
Your contact details and a short note on what you need, through the consultation request page.
- 02
We contact you
A GMAC team member contacts you to schedule the consultation. A request on its own does not book a time.
- 03
Meet one-on-one
A video call joined from a laptop, desktop or tablet.
What GMAC does not do
GMAC is not the VA and is not affiliated with the VA. Not a law firm. Not a medical practice. Not a Veterans Service Organization. Not a VA-accredited attorney, claims agent, or representative.
We do not file, sign, or prosecute a claim, and we do not guarantee service connection, a rating, an effective date, or any other VA outcome. Veterans review, approve, sign, and submit their own documents.
Bring your records.
We will bring the order.
