Privacy policy
How GMAC handles information sent through this website.
What this policy covers
This policy covers gmacveteransconsulting.com. It does not cover the consulting services themselves; those are covered by the agreement you sign if you become a client.
What the website collects
The consultation request form asks for your first and last name, email address and phone number, and a short description of what you would like help with. If you choose, you can also tell us how you prefer to be contacted, who referred you and how you heard about GMAC. The form does not accept documents.
Please do not include your Social Security number, VA file or claim number, bank or card details, or medical records in the form. Anything you type in the description reaches GMAC by email.
How your request reaches GMAC
When you send the form, your request goes straight to GMAC's email. The website itself does not keep a copy.
How GMAC uses it
To contact you about a consultation: to schedule it, to prepare for it, and, if an appointment needs to change, to reach you by text message at the number you gave. GMAC does not use your details for advertising. It does not sell them or share them with anyone outside GMAC, other than the companies that host its website and email.
Website records
The website does not track your visits. Like any web server, it keeps basic technical records to stay running and secure, such as errors and whether a request was delivered. These records never include what you typed into the form, though an error record can include the internet address (IP address) of the device involved. Older records are deleted automatically; there is no fixed date by which every record is gone.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising trackers. When you close the first-visit notice, your browser remembers that on your own device so the notice does not appear again.
GMAC uses Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search results. It does not track visitors on the site.
Keeping requests
Your request arrives in GMAC's support mailbox. GMAC's email system is currently set to keep messages, including website requests, with no set end date. GMAC may remove a request from its active mailboxes once it is no longer needed, but a retained copy stays in GMAC's email records. If you become a client, your information is handled under your client agreement.
You can ask GMAC to remove your request from its active mailboxes by emailing support@gmacveteransconsulting.com. A retained copy stays in GMAC's email records while this setting is in place.
Changes to this policy
GMAC may change this policy by posting a new version on this page.
